Duties and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing the daily operations of the debt management and special projects area within the Office of Financial Services (OFS). Specific areas of responsibility include assisting with the internal bank, loan maintenance and tracking, maintaining the debt management database, preparing executive reports, conducting complex financial analysis in support of capital projects, internal billing and journal entry processing, and assisting with all external debt payments. This position is also responsible for providing recommendations to leadership for use in planning and decision-making and serves as an informational resource to other University departments.
Position Requirements
Desired:
Master's degree or 3 or more years of relevant financial experience. CPA, CFA or CTP desired.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in business or finance. Advanced level Excel and Microsoft office experience. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
