Duties and Responsibilities
The Enterprise Applications Systems Specialist will be in charge of remediating security concerns identified by Symantec DLP for the College of Food, Agricultural & Environmental Sciences (CFAES); will provide assistance as needed for the deployment and management of Symantec Endpoint Protection; will assist with the creation and deployment of software packages and updates using Ivanti Endpoint Management (LANDesk); will maintain a SQL server environment and provide support to clients with SQL databases; will assist with the data collection, quality assurance, and distribution of weather data of the CFAES Mesonet.
Position Requirements
Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer & information science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written; experience with Windows PowerShell, basic scripting, and software distribution in an Enterprise environment.
