Duties and Responsibilities

Two Positions.

Supports program planning and execution monitoring in areas of technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Product and Process analysis is performed at all levels of total system product lifecycle to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the traceability of logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Works with engineering support team to accomplish analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans and systems
  • Monitor configuration control processes
  • Support configuration management reviews
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • US citizenship required
  • 4 years of experience in configuration management or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with software development techniques, change control processes, and configuration audits
  • Direct experience in compiling code with complete understanding of code base installation
  • Experience in the configuration management of commercial hardware and software products and industry standards related to configuration management
  • Knowledge of Government standards related to configuration management and how to align those processes with modern agile development processes
  • Familiarity with code check-in/check-out procedures, release number assignment & tracking, and how to align those processes with modern agile development processes
