Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for performing project management across the entire University Marketing team. This role serves as a consultant, analyst and business-minded individual compiling the most effective teams to deliver partner-focused solutions on time, on budget, and to University Marketing quality standards. This role will create the project schedule, manage resources for deliverables, mitigate risks and ensure adherence to University Marketing processes. They are expected to scope and lead complex projects, meet deadlines and respond to urgent needs while building, sustaining and motivating strong working relationships and project teams.
Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, the Project Manager will demonstrate the ability to be highly responsive; manage multiple projects simultaneously, understand priorities and resource utilization and adjust work and approach accordingly; address identified problems; exhibit attention to detail, flexibility and ability to maintain composure and focus under tight deadlines; communicate (verbally and written) in a clear, concise and effective manner with individuals and/or small groups; and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools/methods.

DUTIES:
Project Management – create and monitor project timelines and reporting to keep projects on track and stakeholders up to date for small- to moderate-scale projects; interact with internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are achieved through established operational processes and procedures; allocate resources and establish resource schedule; anticipate problems and mitigates risks; implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs; provide updates to Director of Operational Excellence with project status, issues, risks, and potential resolutions as each project progresses; and lead project debriefs to continually identify operational opportunities that can positively impact performance.
Organizational and Operational Strategy and Effectiveness – assist with running and distributing regular, predefined reports providing key project information for stakeholders; assist in tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPls) for project management; nurture systematic decision making, an open and trusting team environment, efficient collaboration and communication, shared responsibility, and individual accountability. Serve as resource for Student Assistant. Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Marketing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Minimum of two years of experience in a project management position or role with similar responsibilities
