Duties and Responsibilities
The Ohio State University is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst. This position manages the data collection, data analysis, and reporting activities for the procurement function. Conducts data and process analysis for use with information dissemination, strategic planning, quality improvement and decision making. Analyzes current procurement data, develops sourcing comparison models for new purchases and provides data for metrics reporting. Works with purchasing staff and business unit staff to compile appropriate information. Draws inferences from the analysis to aid the development of sourcing strategies. Works with staff throughout the process to refine and re-analyze data based on bid responses and supplier negotiations.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with PeopleSoft Financial System and Hyperion Interactive Reporting.
Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
3 years’ experience in purchasing or related field, heavy concentration in analysis work gathering, analyzing, interpreting and presenting data. Proficient in excel and database applications, as well as, Microsoft Office Suite. Good interpersonal skills; excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work well within a team environment.
