Duties and Responsibilities
The Ohio State University College of Dentistry seeks an Office Administrative Associate to support the Faculty’s dossier compilation by obtaining and entering scholarly activities into a database management system. The dossier is an important step in the promotion and tenure process.
Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Dean, the Office Administrative Associate is responsible for gathering and organizing scholarly activities such as teaching, research, awards, honors, published works, and service from the faculty and entering the information into an online data management system, Vita/Elements. Additionally, they will be attending to all travel needs for visiting faculty candidates, which includes airline, car service, restaurant reservations and hotel accommodations.
Position Requirements
6 mos. experience (600 hours course work or training) in customer service or communications, including researching, analyzing & interpreting information; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in budgeting.
Desired
Advanced computer skills and a background in higher education. Experience with Research in View or other scholarly management system highly desired. Experience working with university eRequest and eTravel systems.
