AGC Automotive located in Bellefontaine, OH is seeking a qualified Maintenance Coordinator within our Maintenance department. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of maintenance in the Glass Plant and Midwest AVO facilities, receive and review each work order for completeness, validity of the priority, clarity and accuracy of information.
This is a salary exempt position with bonus potential, medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, paid holidays and 401k with Company match.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows all safety rules and practices
- Works in conjunction with the Maintenance Assistant Manager and leadership team to schedule predictive/preventative maintenance activities to keep all equipment in good working order
- Manages the work order system and tracks work orders through completion
- Acts as plant administrator for the CMMS system
- Ensures proper inventory levels are maintained, store-room organization, and kitting for projects
- Ensures technicians have proper tooling and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Accurately and completely prepares and maintains maintenance records and other paperwork
- Supervises spare parts warehouse operations
- Works with engineering department to implement capital projects and equipment upgrades
Position Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Five years’ experience in manufacturing environment and/or machinery/industrial maintenance
- 3-5 years of Leadership experience
- Ability to plan/schedule in coordination with production and maintenance teams
- Organized, systematic thinker who can communicate and work well with a variety of people
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Excellent organization skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, such as: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to take and follow directions
- Must maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Work under time pressure to minimize downtime
- Must be able to work full-time and overtime as required
- 5S experience helpful
