Duties and Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is to support the administrative functions of the Academic Advising Center and to provide administrative support to the Director of Academic Advising. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for tracking and reporting data for Academic Advising, assigning Academic Advisors in the Banner Student Information System, managing and assigning Individual Academic Plans (IAPs), ordering materials through Higher Markets, and organizing meetings and events related to Academic Advising objectives.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year experience in administrative support and working with diverse populations
  • Process and respond quickly, efficiently and thoroughly to a large variety of information requests in a positive and personal manner
Required Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computer knowledge (including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and databases) a plus.
