AGC is currently seeking an IT Project Manager responsible for managing day-to-day project activities to ensure IT programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with the business and senior technology leaders to capture and classify work demand and technology initiatives that will deliver business value
  • Develop internal procedures and processes for demand management, portfolio management, and project management to support IT project delivery
  • Create and implement an information system to support all project management processes in keeping with the Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices
  • Develop and implement project status reporting with relevance to senior business executives and other key stakeholders
  • Work with senior technology leaders to design and implement internal project tracking and management processes that enable successful project delivery
  • Leverage the project portfolio information to support development of strategy roadmaps and mid-term planning (MTP) activities
  • Lead the development of information systems for monitoring and controlling technology projects
  • Manage the information technology project portfolio to maximize business value
  • Measure and track project progress for active initiatives
  • Assist in the project prioritization process as part of IT project portfolio management
  • Analyze projects for business value and advise leaders and on potential project changes or to ensure maximum business value
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technology discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of experience including a minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience (matrix preferred)
  • Hands-on Project Management experience (PMP preferred)
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Proven expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously and delivering within scope, time and budget
  • Change management and scope management experience is key
