Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control Specialist 1 – Under direct supervision of manager, is responsible for inventory control and maintains records of property received; supervises delivery of equipment and materials and conducts inventories; coordinates property disposition and instructs institutional personnel in inventory control procedures.
Position Requirements
Knowledge of inventory control, office practices and procedures, material and equipment handling, basic computer operation (hardware and software), public relations and safety practices desired. Ability to deal with problems, calculate fractions, decimals and percentages, complete routine forms, answer routine telephone or email inquiries, gather and collate information, be physically fit. Unusual working conditions. Must be able to lift at least 65 lbs.
