Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer for the Office of Advancement, the Infrastructure Project Manager, under general supervision, is responsible for leading the initiation, planning, execution and closure phases of the project life cycle for complex IT projects involving multiple technologies, multiple systems, business unit functions and stakeholders. This position manages IT initiatives through initiation, planning, execution, testing and closure phases as they move from design/requirements, to build, test, go-live, training and ultimately to the customer's operational state. They will conduct project meetings and are responsible for project tracking and analysis; manage, develop, and track the tasks for individuals involved in assigned projects; ensure testing is completed; work with the Advancement IT team members to ensure proper integration between systems; aid and manage the production implementation process.
Position Requirements
Desired:
2 yrs. of experience leading, implementing systems that utilize Infrastructure As A Service (AWS or Azure) PMI Certification; Experience of formal project leadership with various project lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc); Proficiency in use of PM scheduling tools.
Required Experience
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent educ/exp; 3 years of direct project management and leadership responsibilities for major, cross-functional IT projects; 2 yrs. of experience leading, implementing and supporting enterprise CRM/ERP infrastructure projects; 2 yrs. of experience leading, implementing systems that utilize Virtual Machines; 2 yrs. of experience leading, implementation IT networks following a set of security and general system policies. Experience dealing with external vendors.
