Duties and Responsibilities

Provides administrative and operations support for the Stores units. Liaison to Stores’ employees, customers and management teams. Serves as contact for vendors. Addresses and resolves customer requests or issues and facilitates problem resolution. Accountable for ensuring customer standards are consistent for all Stores units. Provides input for Key Performance Indicators through the collection and maintenance of appropriate data. Creates spreadsheets. Audits orders, tracks errors and communicates relevant problems to staff and the management team. Assists with the completion of cycle counts and physical inventory. Takes orders from customers and enters information in PeopleSoft and other relevant systems. Compiles data from orders and provides management with pertinent metrics as requested. Works on special projects to increase efficiencies in the department.

Position Requirements

Desired:

Experience in customer service, project management, and functional supervision; strong computer skills; experience with PeopleSoft inventory; experience working with teams; familiarity with hazardous material safety and using bar coding scanning equipment; good communication skills.

Required Experience

Required:

One year of experience (1000 hours of course work or training) in customer service or communications, including analyzing and interpreting information; six months of experience (600 hours of training) in operation of computer and related peripheral equipment; three months of experience (300 hours of course work) in information research and analysis.
