Duties and Responsibilities
The Fundraising Analyst provides reporting services and data analysis for the Wexner Medical Center Development & Alumni Affairs team; S/he will design and build reports to support the Advancement team; extract, analyze and present results from the University's advancement system (TAS) as requested; and will also assist in the creation of standing reports designed to improve the department's ability to operate.
Reporting to the Director, Wexner Medical Center Advancement Services, this position will identify reporting priorities, resolve problems and develop proper protocols related to the reporting function within TAS and our development team; handle special projects as appropriate; and execute all reporting requests from the Wexner Medical Center, Office of Strategic Planning and reports pertaining to AAMC and NACCDO.
A proven strategic and analytical thinker, the Fundraising Analyst will need to operate with a high degree of independence, decision-making capabilities, judgment, consistency and relationship building. They must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once, interpret computer science language, be proficient with and knowledgeable of data analysis methodology, and utilize MS Office while demonstrating excellent customer service and strong communication skills when working with end users.

Position Requirements
Duties
- 85% – Designs and executes reports for the department including but not limited to fundraising and prospect activity, campaign attainment, endowments, scholarships, top donors, historical trends, and chairs & professorships.
- 10% – Identify reporting priorities, resolve problems, develop protocols and provide training related to reporting topics.
- 5% – Special projects as assigned
Required Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or equivalent education/experience; 2 years’ experience using Microsoft T-SQL and gathering report requirements; Experience with enterprise reporting tools
Desired:
Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services
