Duties and Responsibilities
The Ohio State University is currently seeking a Financial Analyst. This position is responsible for the maintenance and optimization of complex resource allocation models. Produces annual budget reporting that provides transparency into sources of revenue. Participates in the development of key budget and long-range planning assumptions. Assists in the preparation of financial analyses and presentations for senior leaders and Board of Trustees. Develops reporting that provides clear insight into financial trends and emerging issues across the university. Supports the development of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and business intelligence solutions. Works with college and vice-presidential units to provide fact-based analysis on results, trends and financial projections. Tracks current and future funding commitments; other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Desired qualifications:
Master's degree desired. Five years of experience with reporting, analysis and financial modeling. Proficient with PeopleSoft, Oracle, Workday, or similar financial systems.
Required Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field. Three years' experience performing reporting, analysis and financial modeling in a large and complex organization. Demonstrated ability to create and leverage analytic, forecasting and modeling tools. Ability to create and leverage financial model projections and scenarios. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and with non-financial functional leaders. Proficient with PeopleSoft, SAP or similar financial systems.
