Duties and Responsibilities

Provides executive level support to the Vice President/Chief Investment Officer and the Investment team consisting of six investment professionals, with minimal daily supervision. Understands the requirements of the Investment team in order to prioritize issues and to allocate time for scheduled events, travel, and meetings. Independently performs administrative work of a complex nature conveying highly sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality. Interacts with all levels of personnel at the university. Makes significant decisions on a regular basis. Manages information flow and serves as liaison among the Office of Investments, Business and Finance Administration and other Business and Finance units. Coordinates the quarterly Investment Committee meetings and other special projects.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ten years related administrative experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a higher education setting. Detail oriented. Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Computer efficiency required with extensive experience using Microsoft Office software applications. Knowledge of university policies and procedures. Strong grasp of office protocols and professional practices.
