Production Control Scheduler
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduling production of the System products and maintaining priorities for the Systems product line. Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments by performing the following duties.
- Maintains reports.
- Releases work orders through MRP
- Communicates with Production Supervisors and Production Control/Materials Manager
- Maintains system data
- Maintains PC Corrective Action Requests (CARs) for Systems
- Maintains Bill of Material line revisions
- Maintains data on Engineering Change Notice reworks
- Expedites work orders
- Maintains electrodes/ fixtures/ Materials Blanks
- Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material
- Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
- Arranges for repair and assembly of material or part
- Ability to supervise other employees
- Prior work with Dispatch List
- Understanding of machining operations a plus
- Assemble work order packages, prints, routers, and IMS
- Understanding of ERP system, BaAN, experience a plus
- Prioritize work on shop flow and direct work of other employees within the department as needed
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Experience with an ERP system, BaaN preferred
- Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Shipping/Receiving
- Excellent organization, communication, and math skills.
- Basic understanding of bills of materials and manufacturing resource planning (MRP)
- Ability to adapt to our process and systems and incorporate solutions into the company’s infrastructure and operating system
- Strong customer service attitude
- Ability to supervise other employees
- Prior work with Dispatch List
- Understanding of machining operations a plus
- Assemble work order packages, prints, routers and IMS
- Prioritize work on shop flow and direct work of other employees within the department as needed
