Duties and Responsibilities
Director-00, Provides leadership for administration of investments operations; develops strategic and tactical plans, policies and procedures; will lead the office through the annual external audit process and coordinate operational audits with money managers to ascertain the strength of back office operations and assist with pre-hiring as well as ongoing due diligence; coordinates reporting and other evaluation processes; coordinates operations with Office of the Controller and Office of the University Treasurer.
Position Requirements
Experience in Public Finance, Treasury Management preferred; several years of progressively responsible managerial experience is necessary; knowledge of governmental regulations and procedures is preferred; strong organizational skills; excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to give professional presentations to significant constituencies; ability to establish and effectively manage internal processes/control; ability to communicate clear expectations of and monitor performance by investment managers; high standards of quality; strong interpersonal skills.
