Duties and Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for the implementation, oversight and alignment of the business operations for the College of Social Work with more than 750 graduate, 450 undergraduate and over 400 students on the regional campuses. The CAO is the strategic business position in the College of Social Work and responsible for designing, implementing and directing the college’s financial, IT, operational and analytical functions and policies. Reporting to the Dean, this is a highly visible and high-impact position that helps shape the strategic direction of the college and oversee change management efforts in a manner aligned with the college’s entrepreneurial culture while simultaneously keeping a strong focus on sustainability and financial strength.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED Qualifications

Experience Bachelor’s degree; experience in an administrative capacity; knowledge of University policies, rules and regulations; knowledge of the principles and application of data processing functions; experience with university budget restructuring and forecasting; knowledge of OSURF policies and procedures

DESIRED Qualifications

Experience Master’s degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
