Duties and Responsibilities

The Ohio State University at Lima is seeking candidates for an Air Quality Technician I position to perform skilled maintenance on commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, domestic water and refrigeration systems for the Lima campus. 

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications: 7th grade plus; 300 hours training in refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning equipment (or three months experience); valid driver’s license.

Desired Qualifications:

Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving; experience in the operation and programming of building automation systems; pneumatic and digital controls experience; knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations; familiarity with building codes; trade apprenticeship certificate; experience working in a public facility; experience working with diverse populations; good interpersonal and communication skills.
