Buyer/Planner | X-Spine – Dayton Ohio

This is an excellent opportunity at our headquarters in the South suburbs of Dayton, Ohio. Candidates must possess the following education, skills and abilities:

  • College Degree
  • 5 – 7 years of Buyer/Planner experience
  • Familiar with ISO 13485 and FDA CFR Part 820 regulations
  • Experience in all aspects of Supply Chain Management and ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Preferred qualification include: APICS or CPM certification and history within the Medical Device industries and machined parts, mechanical components/assemblies/metals

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Plan, schedule and monitor materials through the fulfillment cycle to determine required purchases
  • Support purchasing/procurement requirements of the internal Manufacturing group
  • Gather quotes, examine bids and make awards
  • Evaluate suppliers and develop new supply sources
  • Monitor cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontractors to assure best quality at best value and facilitate other assignments requested by management
